Something for Classic Guitar Afficionados
After seeing the 52-minute demo of My Kitchen Is Not Your Lab, Alex de Grassi is committed to contributing to the documentary film's music soundtrack.
For those unfamiliar with his classic guitar, be sure to visit his company web site. There, you can find more information about his touring, which spans from California to Eastern Europe.
An interesting coincidence is that we made initial contact in Europe, after hearing him perform in the summer of 2005. We learned that he comes from Mendecino County - coincidentally - the first county in the United States to officially ban GMOs. He knew all about the little known fact that the pro GMO lobby spent over 60 USD per voter to distribute pamphlets against Proposition H. Its most famous propaganda picture showed a young mother and young daughter gardening in the backyard. The largest text in the advertisement implied that proposition H would involve snooping on people's private life and keeping them from making free economic choices.
If anyone has copies of this GMO campaign, or knows how we can acquire them, please email us. We would like to add images of this campain to one of our forthcoming products.
